The functions of the successful Mildura Tourism and Mildura Development Corporation bodies are set to be combined into the one entity.

As part of this exciting new era for the region, skills-based board members are being sought for the new body, which will operate in a similar arrangement to Mildura Tourism and Mildura Development Corporation, with funding and reporting facilitated by Mildura Rural City Council.

Once board positions have been filled, a chief executive officer will be appointed with the aim of having the new entity operational by early 2017.

The new entity is seeking six new remunerated board members and a chairperson.
