Any further information about this vacancy:

We are seeking a non-executive board member to provide Financial Advice for our innovative social enterprise.  We have been running for 3 years, running season-long programs teaching mostly young people interested in farming and agriculture how to grow and sell their crops in a collaborative environment.

We are developing our processes and strategies to potentially start a "co-farm" where participants incubate their farming businesses, sharing many of the resources and equipment and lowering their risks of starting a farming business.  This co-farm will potentially be the next step in our organisation's evolution to help grow future farmers. We therefore require experience in financial planning, preferably from someone who has an agricultural background.  Our board is nascent, and we are recruiting other members, each with specialised skills that will help us grow our business and future farmers.

Role: General Board Member
Area of Expertise Being Sought: Accounting, Business, Community Specialist, Grants Administration, Investment, Law & Legal Services
Targeting: Not supplied
