Various Board positions available; Secretary, Treasurer, Deputy Chairperson, Member.
Country North Community Services Incorporated, trading as SA Country Carers, is a locally based community organisaiton, dedicated to supporting unpaid Carers of family or friends and care recipients.
We have offices in Clare and Balaklava, with satellite offices in Burra, Two Wells, Saddleworth and Riverton.
SA Country Carers is a registered provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme and My Aged Care.
Board members are volunteers however, travel costs can be reimbursed. Times for meetings are currently the last Friday of every second month, with sub-committee attendance in the 'off-month' to either the Finance or Governance Sub-Committees. Depending on the best arrangement for all Board members, the times of meetings can be altered, to ensure good attendances.
This is a friendly Board, looking to continue and advocate for Carers, care recipients, the elderly and people with disabilities alike. Community and regional provision of services is at the heart of everything we do.
