Mutli Award Winning organisation, Queen of Hearts Community Foundation is located in Penrith NSW.

A excellent opportunity has arisen for a voluntary Board Secretary to provide compliance and Secretarial support to the Board of the Queen of Hearts Community Foundation.

Our mission is to Protect and Support survivors of Domestic Violence and Childhood sexual abuse on their journey for justice and healing.

Reporting to the Chair and CEO, you will be responsible for undertaking all compliance related matters as required under the constitution and Corporations Act. In addition, you will facilitate the convening of all director and member meetings, including preparation of board packs, taking of minutes and following up action items.

This role requires a person with excellent organisational and communication skills and an emphasis on attention to detail.

The successful candidate will possess;

  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Board secretarial role;
  • Detailed working knowledge of the Not for Profit Sector
  • Demonstrated experience in reporting at Board level
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communications skills
  • Working knowledge of vulnerable groups aspirations
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team

MUST be able to attain a Current working with Children's Clearance and National Police check.
