Yoga for Pain Care Australia is a social enterprise based in WA but operating nationally. Our mission is to help people with chronic pain transition from medical care to community, improving health outcomes, life satisfaction and capacity to participate in work, family and their community.

Please see the website to learn more about our work. You'll find the 2016 impact report, Practitioner Register, and blog posts about our recent partnership with GP down south to improve options for people with pain in regional WA.

The advisory board (non-legal role) currently consists of one pain physiotherapist in public health, a comms expert with background in social impact, children's psychologist and aged care physio. We are looking for a GP, rural health expert, accountant and someone with expertise in partnerships.

Chronic pain costs Australia $34b per year and affects 1 in 5 people, including children. Chronic pain puts you at increased risk of depression, suicide and early retirement.
