Any further information about this vacancy:

Abacus Learning Centre is Australia’s first not-for-profit organisation offering centre-based ABA therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Currently located in Hastings on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, after ten years of operation, Abacus is more convinced than ever in the benefits that centre-based therapy delivers to children with an ASD and their families.

The greatest challenge for Abacus is maintaining a sustainable business while making the service as financially accessible as possible for families.

With little state or federal government funding, the directors, staff, families, friends and supporters are constantly raising funds and securing donations that are vital for Abacus to continue to provide early intervention.

The directors are currently seeking new members to join the board and assist with ensuring Abacus provides the best possible service to families, remains sustainable into the future and the service can be expanded to meet the current demand for early intervention.
