Yarra Ranges Landcare Network
Any further information about this vacancy:
The Yarra Ranges Landcare Network is seeking committee members to contribute to the leadership and governance of the network. Passion for the environment expressed in conservation, sustainable agriculture or horticulture is required along with an understanding of leadership and governance.
This is a volunteer role with an expected contribution of 5-10 hours per month. Meetings times and locations can vary to suit committee members.
The network supports 11 groups across the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges, comprising some 500 members. We partner with local and state government agencies, community organisations and residents to undertake environmental works on private and public land and to educate the wider community about the importance of sustainable land management.
Whilst specific skills in goverance, book keeping, strategic planning and completing funding applications would be of value, applicants with special interests in supporting on-ground environmental activities and events are also encouraged.
Tailored training programs can also be designed and delivered to meet your needs, location and budget. Learn more
