Life After Scams is a newly establishing organisation being set up to support scam victims.  As this is experienced Australia wide, it is necessary to set up a Limited Guarantee company, and 3 directors are required for this. A third director willing to become part of the legal governance of Life After Scams is sought.

Life After Scams seeks to be go-to organisation/referral point for emotional and psychological support for scam victims.  Currently, apart from statistical reporting via ScamWatch or ACORN, there are no services for victims across Australia, though significant trauma can be experienced in extreme cases.

This is a chance for someone wishing to be active in the area of victim advocacy and make a difference in changing society's attitudes towards and support for scam victims.
