About Antenna

Established in 2011, Antenna is Australia’s international documentary film festival,

taking place annually in October across six intensive days.

With an established reputation both nationally and internationally, the festival is

celebrated as Australia's best annual event to stay up-to-date with what is happening in

documentary cinema today. Showcasing the most talked-about films on the circuit,

Antenna is dedicated to programming independent and cutting-edge films that tread

new ground in the documentary landscape.

In addition to film screenings, the festival’s program includes talks masterclasses and

industry-focused events, offering an independent and inspiring meeting place for

documentary filmmakers, industry leaders and local audiences.

The Board

Antenna Documentary Film Festival (Screen Culture Association) is seeking

expressions of interest from individuals keen to join the board and take an integral part

in the leadership of the organisation.

We are looking for people who are passionate about film festivals and the powerful

development.

What is the commitment?

Members of the Board join on a volunteer basis, with a preference to serve for a

minimum 2-year term. The Board meets from February through to November every 4-6

weeks (8 meetings per year). The time commitment for Board members is

approximately 6-8 hours per month.

Who should apply?

SCA is looking for Board Members who are motivated, passionate and keen to make a

difference for a proven, non-profit cultural organisation, contributing their skills and
