Legal Membership Service


Moores is an Our Community preferred supplier of legal services to the not-for-profit sector.

In partnership with Our Community, Moores is offering Institute of Community Directors Australia members the opportunity to obtain expert legal advice via the Not-for-Profit Assist legal membership service.

Membership of Not-for-Profit Assist gives you direct access to the expertise of lawyers who have extensive knowledge of the not-for-profit sector and are committed to providing relevant, targeted and practical advice and service.

Members can choose either a six or twelve-month membership period.

To join, complete the expression of interest form and a member of Moores will be in touch to discuss your application and answer any queries you have.

Not-for-Profit Assist Membership

You get:

  • A dedicated Moores advice line (8.30am to 5.30pm AEST). We aim to respond to calls and emails within 30 minutes during operating hours.
  • Access, to additional member-only resources on the ICDA website (including toolkits, industry specific updates, award advices, webinars etc.).
  • Member-only invitations to seminars, presentations, round-table discussion groups and training courses.

  • Family law and dispute resolution

Price

We offer 6 or 12 month memberships:

  • 6 months: $1,800 + GST
  • 12 months: $2,800 + GST

Legal Health Check

Organisation can also obtain an optional Health Check by a Moores representative, who will assess the legal health of your organisation and report on their findings in a format you can present to the Board.

  • $2,500 + GST with 6 month membership
  • $2,000 + GST with a 12 month membership

Is there a limit to the calls we can make?

No - there are no limits to how many calls you can make.

Is payment made up front or monthly?

We offer 6 or 12 month memberships for optimum flexibility. The membership fee is payable upfront.

What services are not covered by the membership?

If your matter is complex or requires a meeting, document review or formal legal advice we will talk to you about associated legal fees and agree on a price with you up-front before proceeding.

How many people can I register for membership? Is there a cost associated with each person?

There is no limit to how many people can have access to this service. There is no additional cost per user. We recommend that the following key personnel be given access: the CEO / General Manager, CFO, Human Resources or Payroll Officer and the Chair of the Board. It is important to note that we represent employers, so advice will not be provided to individual employees querying about their own issues.
