Advertise a Board Position

Advertise a board position for your community group, government agency or school council.

Tell us about your organisation and the board position, below. Specify the interest area of your organisation, details about your board (size, meeting regularity etc.), the type of position you are hoping to fill (chair, treasurer, secretary, general board member) and the type of skills sought in new board members.

Your contact name, telephone number and email address will remain confidential. They will not be posted on the Board Positions Service or provided to individuals. They will only be used by us to verify your post or to notify you of a potential applicant. Government agencies will be asked to provide contact details as an avenue for potential applicants to express an interest.

You will have the option to create a Listing Profile before you submit the position. This will allow you to manage your listing to edit or relist it. You can edit and re-advertise similar roles each year.

Click "Submit" when you have finished filling in the form. The details will be sent to Our Community for listing, usually within 24 hours - normally a whole lot quicker.

You will be notified by email if an individual expresses an interest in your board position and it is then up to you to make contact.

Your vacancy will remain on the Board Positions Service website for three months, unless you ask us to keep it current for longer. You can remove the position at any time by emailing service@ourcommunity.com.au.

Neither the boards/councils/committees listing positions, nor the individuals expressing an interest in those positions, are endorsed by Our Community.
