Artificial intelligence vs ancestral intelligence (Webinar)

Date: 11 Oct 2024

Artificial intelligence. It’s the talk of the town. Promising unprecedented efficiency, innovation and profitability, AI has arrived, and it’s only going to get stronger.

Yet as we embrace the wonders of technology, it’s crucial to recognise the profound wisdom embedded in ancestral knowledge – timeless insights passed down through generations from our ancestors, our traditional holders of wisdom.

While AI excels in crunching numbers and detecting patterns, collective human wisdom is far more nuanced than that.

How do we ensure AI systems respect diverse perspectives and uphold Indigenous values of respect, reciprocity and interconnectedness?

Join Community Directors Council member Jahna Cedar OAM as we explore why ancestral intelligence must not fall victim to the hype and promise of artificial intelligence.

What's a Webinar?

A Webinar is a seminar that's conducted over the internet.

Our Webinars are recorded and a copy is sent out to every registrant by default. So if you aren't able to watch the Webinar live at the scheduled time, you don't need to do anything - we'll send you a copy you can watch at your own pace on your own screen.
