South Sudanese Australian Youth Justice Expert Working Group

Calling for Expressions of Interest from South Sudanese community organisations!
#

Department of Justice and Community Safety's South Sudanese Australian Youth Justice Expert Working Group has engaged the Institute of Community Directors Australia (ICDA) to deliver capacity building workshops to help South Sudanese community organisations identify, apply for, and manage sustainable funding.

You will be invited to attend these workshops hosted in a couple of months:

  1. Fundraising workshop – we’ll look at seven key streams of fundraising to ensure you are taking a strategic approach to funding and financial sustainability.
  2. Project development ideation session – we’ll identify and develop project ideas and develop a plan to take them from ideas to potential grant applications. We'll also consider current grants available and how to identify appropriate future funding opportunities.
  3. Grant writing workshop – you will be guided through the process of applying for a grant or funding proposal, and using guidelines, templates, budgets and assessment criteria in order to create a compelling application.

To make these workshops meaningful, ICDA would like to know your expression of interest to attend and hear your stories!
